Back to the Community
At Providence we believe
that if you want to be successful in life and in business you
need to find the time to give back. Whether that's your
time, money or talents: There are a number of worthy
organizations and areas where your resources can be put to great
use. It is often said the value of giving goes well beyond the
people we touch, it is the compounding affect of what they may
do and value one receives from giving.
Giving back does not have to
be a huge commitment, it can be a one time event, helping out on
your kid's soccer team, or donating items to your favorite
charity. Our interest is to get others involved.
Sacramento has a wealth of active charitable organizations - the
following are just a few that are doing great things throughout
the region.

over a century, the Sacramento Children's Home has
provided thousands and thousands of children a safe place
to call home. A non-profit agency, SCH works with abused
and neglected children...and with families to stop abuse
before it begins. Support from the community makes us
strong. |

The Junior
League of Sacramento, Inc. is an organization of women
committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the
potential of women, and to improving communities through
the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. |

Society
for the Blind serves thousands of blind and visually
impaired people throughout the Sacramento area and
surrounding counties. Sacramento's Society for
the Blind is the only center in this
region that trains blind and low vision people on Braille,
life skills, computers and job skills. |

WHAT YOU CAN DO -
Get involved with us. As successful
business people, we often have major and legitimate demands put
on us. Often our time is not our own - we understand
that.....many of us could "write the book."
However, there is the rejuvenating affect that goes along with
giving - it allows us to exercise important areas of our lives
we can't do in business, it builds skill sets that businesses
are "screaming for".........people
